Default Antec P182 internal watercooling loop (concept stage) (Scrapped)

I'm thinking about using the Antec P182 in black gunmetal for my next PC build. I can get one from Performanc-Pcs with a custom laser etched acrylic window.

I wanted to keep it all internal because I didn't want to cut the top panel (and screw it up) and I didn't want a 240mm/360mm rad hanging off the back.

All the Rads would have 120mm fans on them to help with airflow. The Rad in the bottom shouldn't affect the rest of the case temps since it's sectioned off (mostly).

The res would mount on the other side of the HDD bay (fits perfectly) and the pump would mount on the bottom (hopefully)

Hardware:

Swiftec Micro Res
Swiftec 1200 lph pump
Assorted High-Flow Blocks (CPU, GPU (x2), Mosfet, NB/SB)
3x 120mm Rads
1/2" ID x 3/4" OD for CPU/VGA loop
1/4" ID x 3/8" OD for chipset loop

This is how i'd like to have my loop setup:

Reservoir > Pump > CPU > 120mm Rad > SPLITTER > (1/2") & (1/4")

(1/2") : From splitter > GPU 1 > GPU 2 > 120mm Rad > End Splitter
(1/4") : From splitter > SB > NB > Mosfet 1 > 120mm Rad > End Splitter

End Splitter > Res.

If anyone can understand my pic please let me know what you think.

Here's my getto blueprint:

So you are getting 3 120 rads? I don't think thatll be able to keep cool what you are envisioning.

Yes 3 120mm high-flow rads is what I had in mind.

One after each piece of hardware (CPU/GPU/Chipset)

Im pretty sure that a single 120mm rad for the cpu and a single 120mm rad for the chipset will be plenty.

I guess i'm not sure if the single 120mm rad will work for the two GTX 260s.

Are there any 'highly efficient' single 120mm rads that could dissipate the heat generated by two GTX 260s?

all i can say is that you are gonna have a hell'va lotta fun with your loop assembly and cable management if you even have room for it.

Good luck. I am going to put my GTX480 outside my case. Btw, 120mm sucks, it was hard for it to cool my 45nm (I think) Athlon 64 x2. I would get horrible temps and I took that poor thing to 80+ degree Celsius. You need AT LEAST 120mmx2 radiator to cool your CPU and good luck doing even a single GPU with a 120mm. GPUs are about 1.75 to 2 times hotter than CPUs.

The question is though , Is one pump sufficient for that setup?

I'm thinking the pump is sufficient:

Swiftech FTW!

I actually use a single 120mm right after the CPU in my sig rig (6000+ 125w) and the cpu might get to 45-50c under heavy load. (Although I do have only a single GTX 260 and a 240mm after that)

Perhaps i'd just leave the chipset air cooled for now...lol it is looking quite complicated.

maybe I could squeak by with the 3 120s then but i still dont know...*sighs*

I think I saw somewhere where they got 1 120mm and a 240mm inside a p18 case, that should be enough for the CPU/GPU but i'm still kinda weary for sli GPU

Do you need to cool the mosfets, NB and SB? Also spliting your loop will kill your pressure and therefore kill the flow...
