I am a little confused. I'm trying out some Hyrdx for the time being but there are conflicting directions for the proper ratio. The bottle (2 oz) says to mix 1 bottle to 0.5L but the product page on Swiftech as well as Petra's says 1 bottle to 1L. I went for the latter ratio but it looks really dilluted and BARELY foamed or bubbled through the bleeding process. Literally bled almost completely in 20min.

I wrote Gabe about this awhile back, and he stated 1 bottle per L.

I used one bottle to .75 litre, as I wanted the deeper green. I had it at 1 bottle to the litre and didnt look good, It cools the same both ways Ive mixed it.

Thanks guys!
I also noticed that this stuff contains Ethylene Glycol which is corrosive isn't it? Is there any concern about this?

Well Ive had no problems YET running it in my loop. I dont know if the deeper concentration I used will do anything.

I'd like to a little more too but I'm not sure. I wonder why they put it in there anyway. Is it a surfactant or is that the antibiotic part of it? OK I'll stop now

I have been using the Hyrdx for over 3 years, and I have never had any problems.

The ethylene glycol is the corrosion inhibitor. Its a oily substance which floats out of the water to cat the copper in the loop. Thus stopping the water from directly contacting the metals, and slows down the corrosion.

Ethylene Glyco is just anti-freeze, its the anti-corrosive....
