I've heard of people using a tiny dot of superglue in the corner of the swiftech ramsinks when they stick them on so that they keep better. Is it possible to remove the ramsinks if you put them on this way?

Oh, me? I just live here.

I assume they would still be removable, however, I'm not sure why you'd want to in the first place. I've never heard of thermal adhesive or tape failing.

The reason is because the thermal tape that comes with the mc14 ramsinks is horrible. Right now I'm using mx2 to keep them on, but 2 ramsinks fell off recently, so I'm looking into how to keep them on better.

As long as there's contact, there's a decent amount of heat transfer. You'll be alright.

I took a toothpick and stuck it down the neck of the superglue bottle, then spread that on the botton of the ramsink. It's enough for them to stick , bu so little that they twist off with ease.

I had the same ram sink issues on my 8800. I found that by using some double sided sticky tape (the thinnest I could find) worked great also. It also helps to use your wife's hair dryer to warm up the tape before attempting to use it.

I used a small dot of Arctic Silver Thermal Adhesive in 2 opposite corners and then a smaller dot of AS5 in the center... works fine for me! And they are removable
