Default Some Liquid Cooling Inlet/Outlet Questions

1) Which is the inlet and which is the outlet of the Black Ice GTX480 radiator? Just double checking

2) Which are the inlet(s) and which are the outlet(s) of the EK-Multioption RES 150?

I think this is right, on a GTX put the barbs at the top and the inlet on the right is the front flow, you can just look in it and see also..So you would want the hottest water going across the back first, that way it will already be cooled a little when it goes across the front part, the idea being that your fans wont be pulling the hottest air across the already cooled part of the flow...

So with fans on the back side from the barbs, with barbs up, the left had would work better as the inlet...If you mount barbs down it would be the right hand barb as inlet...

The flow in a GTX goes across all the front, then across all the back half, instead of side to side like all the other dual pass rads...Are you confused yet? Don't feel bad I am to.......I just did a push-pull on my 480...

On the EK either of the barbs on the lower side can be return lines, then the one on the bottom discharge and the one on the top for a fill line or cap...

I get the reservoir part, but what happens if I'm mounting the GTX480 sideways with four pull fans on the opposite side of the barbs (Silverstone TJ-07 only permits sideways mounting in the lower rack)? Meh, I'm gonna have to draw a diagram soon.

NVM, got it. Thankies.
