Default Shrouds in U2-UFO

I will be running dual loops inside my Cube and wanted to know if

A. Shrouds would help at all
B. If so, should I just use gutted 25mm fans as shrouds
C. And if yes, does anyone have any broken 120x25mm fans i can buy/have

Thanks in advance

Voltaire

Shrouds are an easy way to get a few degrees C for a really low cost in comparison. Gutted 120x25mm fans can help but a real shroud will do even better. If you want some cheap/broken 120x25mm fans I would post in the Marketplace saying you want to buy some.

Try to find some 38mm-deep fans locally or used for cheap, then gut them.

25mm-deep fans won't make as much of a difference as 38mm-deep ones.

From martins graph, 30mm shrouds are the best ones you can purchase for a pull setup.
The problem is, given the space requirements, 2 25mm in push/pull would be better than 38mm with a 30mm shroud in pull.

So, it's up to you really
