Just Fold It.

I am now seriously (3rd attempt) at trying out WCing. I was looking at the Swifty H20-220 Apex kit from newegg for 199.99 when it comes back into stock, since it has decent quality parts, and I could mount the MCR220 in the top of my case. I was also thinking the pump could also support another MCR220 in the loop as well, thinking of actually using the radbox and hanging it off the back of my case. What do ya'll think of this little kit?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835108076 I tried piecing it out cheaper at petra's and Jab-Tech, but no such luck, I just cant beat the price.

The object of water cooling isn't getting it done for the least amount of money, it's providing adequate cooling for your components.
This may be a good place to start.

And why do you think that is so?
Have you done any heat load calculations to see how much heat your system will generate? Have you looked at any test results to see how much heat those components will remove? I posted the linkey to Martin's testing to help steer you in the right direction. Swiftech also publishes performance data for their components. And there is loads of independent testing results available for pretty much all the popular wCing components. Here, have a look, and another.

That kit will work great and cool your quad well if your sig rig is what you are putting it in. Yes you can always add another rad later and that pump will work fine if you do. Good Luck! Keep us posted.

If you go to petrastechshop.com you can get that kit and change out that 120.2 for a 120.3 rad and get the V2. Great place.
Here is a linky for you: http://www.petrastechshop.com/pecoel.html A little more than you are looking to spend, but it will upgrade to a 120.3 rad and a V2 for not much more. Good luck taking the plunge ![]() P.S. I am/was 1337 ![]() <---------

I support the ptra kit option, as it is far better in component quality, and will cool your gear better, its also fully modular and upgradable, in certain aspects...

I like swiftech but I would stay away from that kit, as the apogee is an old cpu block and probably the worst thing in that kit.
__________________If I were you, I would try to get another kit somewhere else with either an apogee Gt or Gtx. Gt Bowed is a good block, even though it's outdated.
