Default WC noob :(

Ok i've already figured out what parts im buying to make up my watercooling setup so thats all good to go!! Second thing i want to know is, is their anything else i need to buy like fans etc? I've ordered 4x 120x38 panaflo's which i got told too.. Not 100% sure what these are for though as in use them for the radiator or shroud?

if your WC loop includes your GPU, the most important components your fans would need to keep cool is the HDD. I'd say put enough fans in it to keep HDD temps between 30C-40C.

I'd use them for the rad, unless you have extra to gut for shrouds...Old crappy 120x38mm fans are what we use for shrouds, not good fans......You can even use 120x25mm fans for shrouds if you cant find any of the 120x38mm to use...No the optimum thickness, but better then nothing...

Unless panaflo uses some special aero dynamic material on their fan casing that increases the cfm from 50 to 100, then no

Use cheap 25mm empty fans for shrouds, not 38mm expensive ones.

In fact, a 25mm shroud would perform better on push than a 38mm shroud.
On pull, the 38mm shroud would perform a tiny bit better.

If space permits, use 38mm fans on both push and pull with zero shrouds or 5-10mm shrouds

You cant transpose the results of that rad's shroud results with another rad..It doesn't work like that..What is the fin per inch count of the rad he's going to use? You don't even know that do you? So how can you say what shroud depth is optimum, you cant..Thats a low fin per inch rad, a PA or Swifty might perform about the same...

Any old fan will work. I use 38mm delta fans on mine and used panaflos as the main fan

What I mean't was why pay $30 for 3 38 panaflo 120mm fans and gut them out, when 25mm cheapies will do. Overall the difference i so minimal in terms of what you would see in core temps, that it's not worth the price difference.
Testy Testy..
