Default External Water Cooling Project

External Water Cooling Project

I’m going to use an old mini Compaq PC Case to design and build an external Water Cooling Centre

Components I'm ordering

XSPC RS240 UV Blue X2

X2

XSPC Dual 750 Bay Reservoir Pump - Clear

1/2" Clear High Flex Hose (XSPC) 3M

PrimoChill UV Blue PVC Hose Clip 3/4" OD (10 Pack)

Yate Loon 120mm D12SH-12 - 2200 RPM X4

Feser One Cooling Fluid - UV BLUE

InLine Multi Power Fan Port (12x)

OLD PC CASE TO HOUSE IT ALL

Works program

1st Phase)
Gut the old PC case leaving just the Hard Drive & CD Rom Bays

2nd Phase)
Remove the side panel and Cut 4x 120mm holes then drill holes for attachment of the 120mm fans

3rd Phase)
Screw Yate loon fans to the side panel with air directing inside case.

4th Phase)
Attach the 2x 240mm Rads to the fans with the bards facing inside the case (the Rads will be side by side with a little piece of tube connecting them.)

5th Phase)
Attach the Pump and Reservoir to the case I will put this in the CD ROM driver Bay or attach it to the bottom of the case.

6th Phase)
Attach the InLine Multi Power Fan Port (12x) O/I slots (So I can run 2 Molex 4pin cables from my existing PSU to power it) (I’m looking for different ways of powering with out using my ATX PSU. Is here a convert out here (UK)?

7th Phase)
Connect all the tubing and start the watercooling set up,,,, up and test and search for leak.

8th Phase)
Attach water block to CPU. And run tubing from water tower centre to CPU in other case. Start system up and test and search for leaks.

PIC’s will be up as project progress.

Please give advice on components and part as I’m still in the ordering phase
