Default Warm rad after gaming session

Hey all, I was just curious if its normal to feel the rad warm after a small gaming session? Kinda concerns me, as it takes a little bit to drop my regular idle temp. I have a swiftech mcr 220 rad, is this too small for a cpu only loop?

A 240 rad is fine for a cpu only loop. What temps are you getting? Also, what type of fans are you using on the rad?

Yeah I was just curious as at my 24/7 oc it feels cooler than my suicide, but with near identical temps. Now 1.45 vcore to 1.65 should make it fell warmer, no?

Plenty normal, higher fans and a shroud would definitely help.

But with , there isn't much time for the rad to heat up. The heat stays more in the water. With a long gaming session, the heat is being disappated more by the rad. Just a guess.

A higher vcore should increase temps depending on ur cooling setup.. Knokcking it up from 1.45 to 1.65 should be fine mate.. Try addin the higher cfm panaflos 2 the rad.. And shrouds do help quite a bit
