No rad = no heat exchange.... why would you want to? Heat has to go somewhere eventually.... more liquid=stays cool longer... but not indefinitely...

I saw a thread before where a guy submerged a 100+ gallon tank in his yard and used the cooler ground temperatures to run rad-less. You'd need a lot more than 18 gallons.
