aww don't tell the whole world...I was trying to avoid that unless people fold and read a lot.

I dont know if this mobo can run DDR and SD ram at the same time...I never thought that would be possible on any pc. my mobo is in my sig if you can look it up to find out or know someone to ask...I have no clue ...ill try it if you think its a good idea lol

thats a funny story ira...I couldn't find any so I just used some copper wire and made small O's...then I squished them down to oblong shapes and slid them on...it worked!, kinda.
it posted fine with the ddr2 but then when it went to load windows it told me my windows needed to be registerd or whatever...asking me to connect to the net or call their number so when I clicked use the net it said no net connection available lol I tried reformatting a coupe of times but when it started loading the files it was saying that my disk was corrupt or the files were not the right ones...I chalked it up to the ram being to fast for the mobo...
however!
I went to a new local pc shop that just opened to get some good ol'fasion genuine geek help. to my supprise I knew the guy and he explained to me that he thinks those jumpers are not for switching from sd to ddr but to add more then 2 sticks of them. he went on to explain there is a card that you can plug into one of the ram slots to put more then one stick in...
that is all in the past...got my new rig today installed most of the parts and am now installing windows.
