how many times did you seat the block? It might be a little cattywompus. How much paste did you use? That could be something to check.

google CPUBURN...

here... cpuburn file

i use the burnk7.exe (one instance per core)... try 1 of the 1's 4 the intel's inside that zip file. it added an extra 3° above what OCCT gave me, and BSOD'd when i thought it was stable

@erazor

have you tried intel burn test? that gave me 8C more vs occt..

i suggest you try it..lets see how much your delta wil be from occt...

@dirtyduck

oh yeah reseating my block? i've done that several times...

at 100% cpu load...a good seat of the waterblock won't cause the fluctuations...its how the program utilizes the cpu...or how efficient the cpu response from the instructions

what i'm looking for is how to average that fluctuations..its like 23-24-25-27..thats just an example...

i can't get mine 2 run that test, either gets closed by windows or pops up instantly with an error.

u add them all up, i.e. 23+24+25+27=99, and divide that number by the number of temp entries u added up, n this case, 4... 4/99=24.75

@Hondacity

bro kunin mo daw muna yung water temp average both idle and load @ full fans rpm (pls use yung thermal sensor ng bitspower thermal sensor g1/4 plug na naka lagay sa res mo bro)

ops lol hehehe

just based your performance via water temps on load and idle for max fans rpm in the radiator, that way you can make sure that you are looking for a best temp watered to cool down your loop. i was thinking that sometimes, cpu temp calculations has many factors to consider in consistency (lapping, correct use of thermal, mobo sensor not accurate and all that stuff )

when measuring temps i'd rather rely on the thermal sensor from the cpu..its not linear..but its been constant..regarding of any rad i use or what waterblock is used or water temps are outside the the cpu...

our main concern again is the temperatures on the cores...and how our setup affects that...

ive pm'ed martin and as usual having all the answers...i've figured out how to make the numbers right..but this will be done next week..its already sunday...
