beyond a triple radiator in a cpu only loop, your talking about like half a degree difference in delta T. there are some people on this forum that will spend $50 more for that half a degree. I am not aiming for the lowest possible temperatures when I setup my loop, just pure and utter silence.

@edge...heheheh

thanks buddy...knowledge is power..i remember injecting that statement years back

@noob

.5C difference? wow...i didn't know that..did you base your answer from other reviews? like martins and the other guys?

what if we only have one reviewer?

heck i'm back on testing again...you prove experience is soo vital...

thanks

lol, there's a review on the feser rads somewhere...

here... i'll give u some basic tidbits...

it was on a quad core, they did 120, 240 and 360 rads. u can c that there's a big difference from the 120 to the 240, but almost negligible between the 240 and the 360. so i myself would conclude that unless ur dumping a ton of heat off ur CPU, a 360 would b the absolute most u could need.

Its been long known now that we have pretty much hit the limit for water cooling. Anything new now is just less restriction or greater efficiency.

Did they ever say what cfm fans they are using in that test? I couldn't find it, all I saw was one little LED looking toy fan on a 120mm rad...

Strange they don't mention it.....PA -47cfm, TFC-80cfm, GTX +80cfm...
So ultra low cfm the PA is best, low cfm the TFC is best and from medium up the GTX is best..Right now anyway...The quad heater core might give the GTX a run for the money with 80+ cfm fans..

But your right, you could run a couple of average loops off on 480 rad, if you use decent fans on them...

"# Fans – One, two, or three 120mm AC Ryan Blackfire 4 Kameleon fans, as fitting on the radiators."

dunno the specs on 'em.
