Default High-End Water Cool

Will water cool limit the QX9770, Q9650, and E8600? Are the EK Supreme & Swiftech Apogee GTZ the best CPU block available?

yes, of course water will cool those. I have a QX9650 on water right now. The EK is, from my understanding, better on quad core.

EDIT, misunderstood question, sorry. No it will not limit those chips. i have my QX @ 4.2 right now, and i could probably push it to 4.4.

Also, welcome to OCN!!

i could run my q6600 up to 4ghz if i wanted to.. so prolly not. the gtx is pretty much the same as the fuzion v2. ek is a good block for a CPU ONLY loop. and a fuzion v2 is good for a multi block loop.

XSPC Edge, D-Tek FuZion, or Swiftech Apogee GTZ are the current best blocks.

well those would limited you. if you get and board that is know to clock high same with ram. ambient temp can cause problems but you can beat that with big rads and higher cfm fans. and my cooling isnt limiting my chip but im limited to voltage i can run to my chip. but i dont care if i can hit 4ghz. what why i bought this chip.

dtek fuzion v1 or v2?

well i asked a water cool guru about the XSPC Edge and he told me this

Me: hi is this the best cpu block available?
http://www.martinsliquidlab.com/XSPC...U-Preview.html

guru: No, it's rubbish. The current kings are the Swiftech Apogee GTZ and the EK Supreme.

If your running a cpu only loop get the Ek, otherwise get the less restrictive GTZ.

it would be the dtek fuzion v2. martin just posted a thread about it. i'll find it and add it in.

the edge is still available it peformance-pcs, i think.

edit: nvm! the edge isn't there anymore. however, martin has said they will be coming out with the delta v3 soon.
