Question How to best drain a LCS setup?

I'm thinking about changing my setup and moving my stuff to a new case when I get off my lazy butt and get one. I've had to do this a few times, and it always seems like I'm fighting to get it done; so I figured why not ask you guys how you drain your systems when they need to be moved or something that requires evacuations of all liquid.

I'm up for serious methods, and jokes; humor me

I put a fillport at the lowest point near my radiator and just open it up and turn on the pumps.. easy draining!

i woudlnt suggest that...

if the pump gets air in it while running you can seriously damage or break the pump.

depending on the pump of coarse.

for example the DDC you cant run w/o water in it.

i setup a T-line on 1 side of each of my rads with a 1/2" bard to 1/2" hose thread connector and attached that to a 1/2" hose bibb. if it's already at the lowest point n ur loop, most of the water will drain out easily. if u need 2 push more water out of the loop, simply take off a hose at 1 of the higher points n the loop, a hose that doesn't have water n it and blow n2 it 2 push the water out.

I put a T in my lowest line with a foot or so of tubing on it and plug it with a brass plug or fil-port, to drain I take the plug out of my res or t-line, flip the drain line over into a bucket and drain it..You might have to tilt the case around a little to get it all out..

You have to drain a LCS from time to time ??

But yea, a t-line at the lowest point in your line works best. A res will help the line bleed faster.

T line, the koolance brass (nickel plated) is pretty good as it has a straight path and the little restriction.
Comes with 2 plugs..
