Default Black Ice III Pro

Are these radiators any good? I would like to grab one since they are around $40.

I know it isn't the top performer but does anyone have one?

They work pretty well.

I have one for my Q6700; at 1.5 volts, 3.7 ghz, it keeps my idle at around 45-45 idle, and 60-65 under load.

It is great for a budget build, but for multi-block loops it is not very good.

Thanks, just looking to cool a single Q6600.. Been using two garbage thermaltake 120's for a while now. Going to a new case and need something that I can mount on the back as one complete unit.

And yes, budget is the key...

They are the same 120's that come with the old bigwater systems.

oh geez. lol buy it plz and get rid of thermal take rads....2x120s or 2x240???

What temps are you getting?

Definatly a step up from your current rads im sure. for the price thats a decent triple rad.

LOL, that bad eh?

They are single 120's that I have in sequence using tubes.

At a solid 1.42 volts on the vcore, clocked at 3.44ghz. I get around 38C at idle, and 72C with heavy loading using OCCT.

I will be ecstatic if it drops me 10 celcius... It is warm in this room most of the time, around 24celcius ambient on average.

My pump is a bit older as well, but it's still kicking.

I'm not looking for miracles here, just need something that I can mount on the back. But if I get a performance increase in heat transfer... well thats a big bonus. This quad needs over 1.5 volts to hit 3.6ghz... Actually it will go a bit higher, but the heat is ridiculous.

They are good radiators, similiar in performance to other slim style rads like the MCR series. I don't have one, but I've seen some testing comparisons and they look like a good option.
