Default [Project Log] Moist TJ07

This is my first venture into the moist world of liquid cooling. My view is that i need to go the whole way or not go at all, so i'm aiming for a high end loop.
The hardware i will be cooling is in my sig, the loop will cool the CPU and Graphics card. I don't feel there is much need to do my Northbridge too.
Obviously the first stage of any build is choosing the components, i have a pretty good idea of what i want, however all input is much appreciated.

Current shopping list (will be edited if/when it changes):

Case - Silverstone TJ07B-W - £237.35
Radiator - PA 120.3 - £55.99
CPU Block - D-Tek Fuzion V2 - £41.36
GPU Block - EK-FC4870 Full Cover- £59.99
Pump - Laing DDC Ultra with top - £56.99
Tubing - 3m 7/16" Masterkleer - £7.47
Fans - 3x Yate Loon 120mm - £12.75
Resevoir - XSPC Clear Bay Res. - £19.99
Coolant - Feser One UV Black - £7.99
Fan Controller - Zalman ZM-MFC1 Plus Black - £19.96
ASC - Ceramique for the 4870 mem. - £2.98
HD Mount x2 - HDD Decoupler Set - £9.98

Total before shipping = £540

What do those in the know think? As i said before, all suggestions are appreciated.
I have been pondering between saving a bit of money by getting the Alphacool Black Ice Xtreme III radiator, will the impact be significant?

I will be ordering hopefully on the 18th or 19th September as i am away at the start of next week.

That looks great for a single CPU and single GPU setup. It's quite expensive, but with that TJ-07 being the bulk of the cost, I'd say the loop is a top of the line setup. You'll definitely enjoy it.

That looks great - buy from WatercoolingUK though, they sell the TJ-07 and are owned by the same guys who own Watercooling Shop so your still supporting them and OCN The owner, Rob, is a great guy, and will do all he can to help you out

The one change I would make would be the hosing; buy 7/16" hose for 1/2" barbs, and ditch the hose clips. It'll look a lot cleaner and 7/16" is such a tight fit on 1/2" barbs you'll need a knife to remove it or a lot of force

Also, change the pump for a DDC with a top - e.g. http://www.watercoolinguk.co.uk/cata...roducts_id=614

You'll get very similar performance results, but you can change barbs on it and the pump is a lot smaller

EDIT: While your at it, consider the XSPC Edge V3 or the Supreme GTZ - they'll all perform very similarly but you might save some money or improve the looks

as for changing your rads, if you're going to be using high CFM fans, the black ice GTX will do much better than the pa120.3

other than that, i agree with prosser. pross, do you mean the delta v3?

Cheers for the input. I'll get the 7/16" tubing, the jubilee clips are a bit of an eyesore!
The DDC is nice and small, i was going to get it when i was planning on putting water in my P180, will it give me the same performance as the D5? I was under the impression it was a bit weaker?
Watercoolinguk dont seem to have the XSPC Edge V3 or the Supreme GTZ, i notice the D-Tek and Apogee GTZ block are not in stock, so maybe i'll have to look to another store for my cpu block.
The fans i'll probably go for are high CFM, so maybe the Black Ice would be the right choice, although i will probably have them turned down most of the time as i like it when my computer doesn't sound like a space ship taking off. I'll have a think about it.

overall, the performance of the ddc3.2 and D5 are the same. ddc3.2 has more head while the D5 has more flow. thats ok about the fans. i hae them turned down to around 1/3 on normal use and when i need to really cool, i just turn them up even higher. right now i've gotten to them at max.. and its just white noise.

for the fans, i'd recommend either utra high speed panaflos or scythe ultra kazes 110CFM.
