I'd say one massive loop with a GTX480 radiator.

Yeah a 480 would handle CPU,GPU's @ NB easily with decent cfm fans on it..Fans and HSF are more then enough for the rest of it..

How does this look for a dual loop:

Loop 1
Pump: DD-CPX1 12v Pump
Reservoir: XSPC Passive 150mm Reservoir Black
Radiator: Black Ice GTX120
CPU Block: D-Tek Fuzion v2 CPU Block
Motherboard Block: ViperJohn 790i SPP Chipset Water Block

Loop 2
Pump: DD12V-D5 Pump Variable Speed by Laing
Reservoir: XSPC Passive 150mm Reservoir Black
Radiator: Black Ice GTX240
Video Card Block: Danger Den Tieton GTX280 Copper Block
Video Card Block: Danger Den Tieton GTX280 Copper Block

The case is a Coolermaster COSMOS 1000, I plan to use either 3/8" or 1/4" tubing, any suggestions for things to change are appreciated.

Why would you need watercool your HDD's? Also the RAM does not need watercooling so you only need two loops for your GTX280's and the CPU/NB/SB!

why would you modify anything on your computer then? you don't need to modify anything. all computers run perfectly fine stock and will continue to run that way until a manufacturer defect becomes apparent.

if someone wants to water cool something, let him/her. don't just say "that's not what i would do, so you shouldn't either." give some pro's and con's... you know, objectively. if they end up wanting to spend a little more cash, then by all means, let them.

I would even recommend seriously a 4 loop but I'm sure nobody wants to hear that.
