Not significantly. I wouled be surprised if it changed temps by 1C. Look at all commercial PC rads, they are all painted and work fine.

How much is the block at ZZ&F? If you could get it where you get your 4-pins shipping should be a little cheaper...I just looked at SW and JT, neither one had that block..
You can get the V1 Fuzion here for a good price..FuZion CPU Block .They have molex pins and all that to..The V1 Fuzion is a pretty good non-restrictive block, but if you like the OCZ better get it, all these blocks are real close to each other in performance anyway.. When you get it going try a few remounts on your block, I usually do 4 or 5 over a week or two then try to work back down to my lowest temp..Its good practice to, some guys can mount good from the start, some it takes alittle practice...The more you do it the better you'll get at it..Its as much done by feel as anything, you can check your TIM spread as you do your remounts and see if it looks nice and even or all messed up..Tighted your bolts in a criss cross pattern to try and get it as evenly tightened as you you can. Leave your rad loos to till your bleed, that way you can shake and slap your rad a little to knock all the air out, you can get trapped pocets of air in them that can hurt temp's..Really rock your case around while your bleeding to, you want ot make sure there are no air pockets in your block.. And leak test that puppy well, I do it all out of the case the first time, thats just to cheack your compnents and see if the are going to have any kind of failures, I do that fro a day or two..Then I leak test in the box also, just jump your PSU to run the pump and a couple of fans, put pieces of printer paper under any unions to see if you get any leakage, run your fingers around fittings and see if it feels wet... EDIT:^^^ Hey d, hows it been going? Long time no see.. ![]()

Didn't you say you were going to get it at Zip Zoom & Fly? You could get one of the little cheap Swiftec all in one units if you wanted to pretty cheaply.. Swiftech H20-220 Compact .Doesn't look like much fun though...They would be fine for a CPU only loop...

Thats plenty of rad for it, the higher cfm fans help a lot, the higher the cfm you can comfortably use the easier it is to cool...
The pumps so,so, but just for the OCZ it should be fine, its not a real restrictive block...HC's are generally a real free flowing rad to... Have you read any reviews on that block? Martin did one not long ago.OCZ Hydroflow Mini Review ..Its about like the Apogee GT, not a bad block for the money...He left some TIM spread pic's on that first page somewhere, it will give you a good idea of what to look for when you do your remounts.. Practice your mounts, a good mount can make a lot of difference...Every now and then you'll get a "Magic Mount" it will be several degree's cooler then your normal best mount, Man I hate to mess with those, but eventually you will have to re-mount.. ..I might get one of those out of every 100 mounts..
