Well as the title states water and Psu don't mix well.
I have to keep a positive attitude about this cause it was my fault and I'm so pissed off at myself......So I was adding my second gtx 280 to my loop and a major leak happened to stream out of the bottom card barb which I did not catch in time and spilled water on my Psu. So I'm thinking to myself it will be just fine NOPE after cleaning it up and not thinking in the correct state of mind I plugged her in and.......Blew up my Mobo, the smell of burnt mobo still lingers in my living room after an 2 hours ![]() So anywho S**t happens right? The question I have is will this psu(in my sig) still be ok or will I have to order a new one? I plan on testing it tommorow after it dries out on a diff machine that I don't care much about. The moral of this sorry is to make sure you check and double check your connections ![]()

Ah, bummer.
I'm pretty sure it's best if you get a new PSU

im so sorry...
anytime you spill a liquid on a computer part, best idea is put it some where "warm" for 48 hours before you put juice back to it. see so many dead laptops cuz people "wipe it off" then turn them on.

Was your PSU plugged in and powered on? If so... it is still power on in standby mode....

Are you sure its not the PSU thats dead and your mobo thats fine. Also in future test the PSU with a paperclip - just bend it to fit in the green wire and any black wire. However, in this case I suggest you do not turn on the PSU for at least 1 week.

after reading this thread I am scared becuase I am about to switch cases =P So I have to disconnect everything, drain it, dry it, reconnect and hope nothing leaks.
May I ask why you didnt think of letting it dry out first?
