If you are looking for bang for your buck one of these kits would do, I have the compact but the apex is best for a cpu loop that might turn into a cpu+gpu loop

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835108105 - $140
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835108076 - $200

If you plan on going with a CPU+GPU loop later on down the line, I would go this route. If you're just looking for a cheap CPU loop, this is overkill, especially for a dual. But always get the best you can afford to avoid over-spending down the line.

I'm at 4.4 GHz on my E8400 with a little extra headroom loading @ 55*C on each core on OCCT Small FFT stress test with an Apogee GT, Black Ice Pro X-Flow 120, and DD-CPX1 (same as DTEK DB-1) setup that cost me ~$160 total after tax, which I actually could have gotten much cheaper had I bought online and not in-store.

And definitely go with a reservoir if you're impatient, as it's much quicker to bleed. I spent only a few hours getting my loop set up, but it took me 2 days to bleed the loop with a t-line, and I still had a few tiny air bubbles in the t-line after all was said and done.

here is a list for reference:
CPU block: Fuzion v2 $63.95 or Apogee GTZ $64.95
Rad: 240GTX $89.95 or 360GTX $99.95
Tubing: Masterkleer 7/16" $0.59/ft
pump: d5 vario $77.95 or ddc3.2 $67.95
barbs: dd/bp fatboys $2.50/each
res:micro res $14.95 or you could go with a T-line. or xspc top for ddc3.2 $44.95

for pump, either go for the DDC3.2 w/ xspc res-top if you don't have space, but if you want to have a separate res, go for the D5 vario and microres.

for the rad, a 240GTX will be sufficient for CPU only and a 360GTX would be overkill for CPU only but will also allow you to add a GPU if you ever feel like it.

i forgot to add PT-nuke. you can get that at petrastechshop dot com.

for fluids, use distilled... its WAY cheaper than premade ones and you get alot more... example: 1L of say Feser one might cost me $20.. that $20 could buy me atleast 9 Gal of distilled which is around 18L if not a bit more.

hope you do go WC though, its real fun and addicting.

^^^ Agreed. If you have the cash, by all means go all out. If you're on a strict budget, it can be done for cheaper. But it sounds like you have the cash, so go for it! Also agreed on the distilled. Swiftech Hydrx is $2.99 per bottle, and a gallon of distilled is $0.99, so about $4, which will be plenty for any loop, and will get you a couple of refills at that.

There getting you lined up on parts, I'll leave you my cleaning and set-up PDF, be sure to read all the stickies here also, lots of good info in them..

Take your time and research your parts before you buy anything, decide what you want, all out suicide machine, quiet computer, or something in-between..Making that decision at the start will determine what kind of loop you need...You can look in the "For Sale" section here and get good deals on lightly used gear at times...
