Default Extreme SanAce! Need some +CFM ?!

Got some new fans for testing.. pretty extreme, even for me I am thinking of putting a good polish on the outside of these.. the Alu housing will shine up very nice with a little elbow grease. Thought i would share with the rest of the water-heads [since these would not be practical for aircooling..due to gross size]

Check em' out!!

Shot with Beta V's..for size reference. Oh meh, Holy Bohemeth Batman!

Fan grille removed.. up close and personal with the blades

They are veeeery high output.. ~170mm x ~51mm

24v @ 1.3A
Rated for 4100 RPM's
300CFM @ 243 PA [static pressure]

Linky here-> http://db.sanyodenki.co.jp/product_d...master_id=2566

I have a 'bench loop' that I am working on, in my spare time... it will geared more for DICE though.. not sure if I can use these yet or not. I plan on seeing how they handle 10-15v.. should still produce over 100CFM at that voltage too.

Any idea's ?! Ira warned me not to use them in a push-pull, for fear of flattening my Rad fins!

Those would be great for blowing across and under your mobo, I like to air cool the back to..

One of them would make a good exhaust fan for your DI pot to, use a piece of dryer hose as a zip tube to exhaust it outside..Thats the way I was going to do it if I ever get a pot, the carbon dioxide and acetone fumes could get pretty rough with no exhaust...

This is my favorite, make a levitating rad with them....

Those are nice industrial fans, they should look real sharp polished out..

Decommissioned amplifier rack..these puppies would exhaust hot air off the sinks' on the amps we use.

..If they are quieter at 12v..I would love to use them for some projects..or i could put 2x on my PA120.3 and triple my CFM through the rad... not really sure yet, gotta see how they handle some lower voltages first. At full tilt with 24v, they are just downright disturbing!! WHAT DID YOU SAY !?? Sorry, couldnt resist turning them on again.

I will..gotta finish it all first though. Gonna use my old Zalman Reserator tank [minus pump] as the DICE res.. should work stellar, and provide enough liquid space, to keep the loop going for a while at sub-0.

I gotta a lot of little projects going right now, vmodding GPU's for me and others, modding drivers for folding PPD, making another techstation..and this sub-0 loop... Plus I am still trying to finish my ghetto LN2 POT...!! Can I buy some time from someone..I need moarr time!

Oh your going to run your loop through a dry ice res to cool it? Might work good, I've got that big bucket res I can throw DI in and cool it all down to, might work good with the TEC to..Hey all we have is time, I hope, I don't get in any hurry anymore, as soon as I get done with one thing I want to start another, so its just a continuous thing anyway...

Just enjoy the doing is the main thing...
