Everything is here for the new build. There is ALOT of stuff.
I am just trying to think of anything I should do before putting all this stuff together. Like a check list before a pilot takes off.

its not a checklist, but how I tend to start up a new system:
Install the I/O shield and PSU into the case. Then put the motherboard on the box it came in, install the CPU, thermal grease, HS and fan and the ram. Then install the motherboard mounting posts and make sure there are no extras installed that can ground out on the board. Then install the board. Install the video card and connect the CPU fan, 24 pin PSU power, 8 pin CPU power, PCI-E power and recheck the CPU fan is plugged in. Then connect the case switches. Then power up the system (no HDD or disk drive) and immediately go into the bios and navigate to the hardware monitor section. From there watch the temps for about 15 min and make sure the system isnt overheating. The go to the voltage section and set the ram voltage to the required setting. If all is well, power down, connect the HDDs and the Disk drive and do your cable management. Then power it back up, set important bios settings and install OS.

1. make sure you have tools and spare hardwares (nuts, bolts, double sided tape etc.)
2. Clean work area so it'll be unclean when ur done ![]() 3. TIME and lots of it. unless you already know it'll take longer than 2-3days 4. Get ur self phyched up cause putting a rig together isn't really fun if ur not into it. GL

I just transfered everything from my cheapo ebay case to my new brand spanking new antec 1200 and it literally took me 4 hours to disconnect everything in the old case, take everything out, transfer everything to the new case, and then finally reconnect the WC loop. I think the longest and hardest part was the WC loop becuase all the hoses were stuck on the barbs tight as heck. Like the T-line and whatnot. I redid some of the hose lengths with some left over hose from my TT crap WC loop.
I really need to repalce the awful hosing that come with my TT kit. Its not pliable AT ALL. It was not very fun but the end product is pretty rewarding.

What is a I/O shield?
--- What do you guys think the chances of SOMETHING being broken or needs to be returned with this much stuff? Everything is just bought. I tried to minimize the risk of dammage by doing the important parts overnight. q9650 3x gtx280 with pre-installed waterblocks (evga) 8 gigs of gskill 1066 mem TT toughpower 1200w psu 780i ftw mobo pc-p80 lianli case 2x 300gig velociraptor hdd. I always read newegg reviews of people getting dead stuff. What are the chances do you think?
