sorry for the many questions i already posted but...
1. how many radiators (and what size) do i need if i want to cool my upcoming q9550, asus striker II extreme (i shall be using the fusion block on it), and 9800gtx+ in tri-sli? i'm thinking triple rad and a dual rad. the case (cosmos s) will be able to hold a triple rad in the roof, and a dual rad via a radbox in the back. 2. i'm thinking of going with one loop, but some people tell me no. will one swiftech mcp655 with speed control be able to control the above hardware (q9550, fusion block, and tri-sli 9800gtx+)? 3. what should my loop be? i'm thinking res--->pump--->rad #1--->cpu--->rad #2 (if needed)--->gpu--->fusion block--->res. is this alright? and if it's two loops necessary, can someone tell me the 2 loops in order? thanks A LOT!

well for sure with that much stuff you dont want to go 1 loop. Do i loop for the cpu, and the second loop for the 3 cards with a good rad

I am with Timlander on what he said with that many parts and especially 3 gfx cards i would suggest have the cpu on its own loop with a 3x120 rad and the 2nd loop (for the board?) and 3 gfx card to be a 3x120 rad.

for 3x cards, you're going to want to put it in its own loop unless you get a 480GTX or any quad 120mm rad. but if you can't or don't want something that big, then i say get a 2x120 and a 3x120 rad, so two loops. i'm sure your pump could handle all that if it was in one loop. if i was to actually have that many blocks in one loop.. i would use two pumps in series.
well if its one loop: res-> pump-> rad(assuming 480GTX or equivalent)-> cpu -> fusion block-> gpus-> back to res if its two loops: loop1: res-> pump-> rad(240)-> cpu > fusion block-> back to res loop2: res-> pump-> rad(360)-> gpus-> back to res

thanks all.
two question though, nafl. 1. instead of a quad radiator, what do you think of a triple rad and a single rad on one loop? i really want to avoid a quad radiator cause they are too big. with the 2 rads in one loop, it would go like res, pump, triple rad, single rad, cpu, fusion, gpu and then res? 2. if i go with two loops, can you give me a good reccomendation for a pump/res combo?

the single rad will cool it down a litte more but if you really do want one loop, get a dual 120 rad. can't guarantee decent temps with a single rad. i think you'd be ok with that. i personally would have the loop go:
res-> pump-> triple rad-> cpu-> fusion block-> dual rad-> gpu-> back to res. as the cpu and nb blocks are more sensitive to heat but the gpus aren't so you want gpus dead last. as for the placement of the rads.. you could actually do that too but i think in that sense it would depend on you. a pump/res combo: i would say the XSPC res-top and DDC3.2 or you could go with the D5 vario and microres v1 or microres v2 route. they microresv2 gives you more customizabilty as to how you want it to flow. but if you are slightly tight on cash, the v1 will do you great. it may seem a bit expensive but its quite worth it... i have 3 DDC3.2+XSPC res-top.

i wouldn't recommend any pump that is integrated with the pump.. soo i would still recommend the D5 Vario and as for a bay res.. XSPC, DangerDen, or D-tek should have something you're looking for.
