The places I looked say the 655 has about 10ft of head and this thing is only 4-5 feet anyway. :-)

That should work.

That atomizer is looking pretty good there. However you will want to be sure it does not completely fill your tower. You need space around the sides to allow air flow. Honestly the easiest thing to do at this point for you would be to pick up a cheap shower head at the hardware store. That or cut your atomizer plate down so that it will fit inside the next smaller size pvc pipe fittings, and make your own..... I am all for doing as much as you can yourself, but buying a pre-made shower head would probably be faster and cheaper.

Duck I see what you said about the 4 feet of head. My sentence was well bad.

I meant it should have enough head at 4 feet high.

oh got ya...yes you will have more then enough head to do it! I was worried about you for a min lol.

upon looking at your design I can't help but notice that you have the top closed off with your atomizer, the problem with that is you wont have an air excaping your bong to let it evaporate the water atoms one thing you could try is my "water bottle shower head mod"
before I had a shower head I tried using a cheap plastic water bottle...the kind you get from the store, with water in it, for a buck.

Take the water out and make a hole in the cap, install a barb in the cap. Get a candle going and heat up a needle a tiny bit so you can poke little holes in the bottom of the water bottle...it works damn good and you can regulate how your "homemade shower head" sprays and how many holes. Just be sure to poke fast because if even one hole is over sized you have to start all over again because you will have one large jet and the rest wont work as well lol.

Whats funny is I can see some of those water bottles in your pic behind your bong ROFL

You do know I mentioned that 'tower completely blocked off by the atomizer' issue a couple posts back? o0

Yep but I remembered the water bottle mod, I thought maybe he should give it a try, hes got the bottles sitting right there....mine worked really well lol. I was more backing up your last post then trying to step on your toes...we both use shower heads and I would not much want to go back to the water bottle mod but if he didn't want to run to the HW store right away and wanted to test his bong he could try the ghetto mod and get it to work quite well.

LOL I don't have toes to step on They got squashed off years ago. I was just mentioning that because I don't think that he read my post replying to his build is all

edit: That bottle mod is a great idea. Good catch there seeing the bottles in the pic.
edit: I am really liking his solution for a base to the tower and mounting spot for the pump. I am a little concerned about leaks, but epoxy should be good enough for this... I hope....

I am going to try out that idea I pm'd you about Duck. The substrate one. I am thinking that the combination of the tower and this swamp field will yield better temps than I have seen so far off of both. And I figured out a way to suspend the wick material Will just take me a week or so to make it. Since it wont be visible from outside the tower, I'll take some pics of it as I put it together and as I suspend it. Will be the best of both worlds I think - the performance of the wicking material with the simplicity of the tower bong. That forest of risers set up I have was a bit more complex to get built and to tune in the correct length given my pumps head, etc.
If the substrate idea works out, and I can get the stuff in bulk, then we could start making them and selling them..... o0
Maybe start up a pc cooling company What do you think of the name "GhettoModz" ?
edit: I'll send those pics in an email.
