I believe they will be heavier with water on them.

You DON'T need the balls...it will just sound like a shower hitting a bath if you don't have something to dampen the sound.

Meh keeps me bung very sanitary there sir! Showers ftw!

DirtyDuck is 100 percent right about ping pong balls muffling the sound. They do.
And they also resrict air flow. For a while I had a lot of them, figuring more is always better. That was a mistake. I found I had better results using fewer rather than more (just 18 of them instead of 72.)

My bong tube goes all the way to the bottom of the res...it has holes drilled in it for the water to come out...I sometimes stick the pump in there to catch the coldest water. The balls float on top of the water.

The best way to do it would be to put something to catch the balls just above the sanitary T. that way the air flow would be going through the balls.

I have not gone to that extent yet...I just have my whiffle balls on the bottom of my tube.

its a double female part that puts 2 tubes of PVC together.

I was being dumb though...you just use the top of the sanitary T. You can wrap the end with some pantie hoes before you put the bong tube on it, that will catch the balls and hold them above the T.

Actually, That gave me an idea. Duck, take a thigh high stocking - raid your girls undies drawer for one maybe. Put that into your tower, with the shower head going down into it. And in the bottom of it/the toe of the stocking, have 1 of your wiffleballs. that should keep it relatively open. I have a feeling this may work as well as the towel tube i made, but with much less effort.
