You're welcome. I advise you to do some googling on bongs, and look at some other OCN threads - particularly the two horizontal coolers.

The trick to cutting down on water loss is the fan speed. You can build your bong that way...and hey....it might work just fine! However this contraption works because of the water loss. Its taking the heat out of the water by evaporating it...if you evaporate it and then it re-condenses, then you wont ever lose any heat.

Really your just making it complicated. For your first bong just keep it simple. After that you can add tons of tweaks.

I say you just run out and get the PVC and bust it out...it is SIMPLE to build but you can go any direction after you have the basics down.
Don't worry too much about how tall you build it...I had mine at 7' to start and have cut it down to about 5' without any noticeable difference.

Yep...Im a'bongin still. I love it! Lately I have been doing a lot of one on one work with a few friends. (on mods and stuff). I have been very busy with other things lately as well so im not as vocal as I use to be. I rarely hunt down people to help anymore. (although I still do it).
I have also been getting into weight lifting and gardening (I know a strange mix) for my health. Sitting at my computer getting carpal tunnel is not really healthy lol.

However when someone wants to learn how to build a bong I am more then happy to jump up and lend my brain to be picked. I mean...that's what this site is for right? What would OCN be without the bong man? :P I have enjoyed mine just way too much to not pass on the joy.

There you go that's a good way to be, especially for a young guy. I still get out about an hour before dawn and get 3 or 4 hours of fishing in before it gets to hot. The only weight lifting I've been doing though is by the 12 ounce can..

..And I've got the gut to prove it..

bit of an update... actually had my bong for about 2 months now; it's sitting outside. Problem is, the pump doesn't have enough pressure once it gets to the top (~1m) of the bong, so that rules out a showerhead/sprinklers... for the school project i just did a theory sort of writeup since this didn't work out.

I do have that fibrous stuff in the garage, though, so i was thinking i could wrap it around the tube inside the bong and have the water coming out of the tubes and soaking the material (also got a 120mm fan and PSU).

Thoughts? Comments? Suggestions?

why dont u get a pump with more head?

and what size is the PVC 6 inches wide right?
O and im going to start my bong next week (i get paid thursday)
