Go 4" its cheaper...and does the job just right.

Yes a stronger pump would be best...however you can make a bong only 2' tall and it will work pretty damn good....try it you will be amazed. A lot of the cooling actually happens in the res. If you have some air flow in there so the heat can get out....if you look at Nubs bong he has his fans in his res...that's a pretty clever idea only you don't need 2. This way you can pull the evap off of the surface of the res water also.

yeah well if i ever do end up using a bong to cool a rig, i'll be using a horizontal design with a custom made waterblock... This project just failed simply because of the pump. I think it can still work by using the fibrous material stuff, but that begs the question "what is the point of the PVC tower?".

Well i need some help. What are some things i should look for when picking a showerhead.
what should i use to monitor my resivor water temps and humidity.(where to get em and how expensive)

imo you should leave the vertical design and go for a horizontal design... showerheads don't provide anywhere near the surface area of a towel or cloth of some kind.

You can get digital Hygrometers (measure humidity) for... idk maybe $5? any sort of electrical or hobby/science shop, or ebay i suppose. Reservoir temps, just any sort of thermometer if you feel you need to monitor the res temps.

btw, there really aren't many "bongers" here...

im really surprised there arnt more considering the results you get for like no money... uhm think home depot has hygrometers?
and what is a horizontle design is there a how to or atleast some pics? im up for any ideas my room has been in the 90's during the day and so my rads are just soaking it up i need some extreme cooling! lol
