Well there really doesn't seem to be much, but i know for example DD cleans out his waterblock every 6 months or something. That's (yet) another advantage of a horizontal design - less dust.

The only things that should be put in your bong are .999 silver and a breathable vaporizer biocyde (sp?).

Anything else is BAD! Don't mess around with this stuff...its going right into your lungs!!!

I clean my block out every couple of months because my Fuzion has small pins that get clogged with funk...this is because I run only tap water and silver with no fan filter. I could fix this by changing my block to a channel type or just cutting out the pins lol. I could also fix this by adding a fan filter and a biocyde ball.

Well there really doesn't seem to be much, but i know for example DD cleans out his waterblock every 6 months or something. That's (yet) another advantage of a horizontal design - less dust.

H20 evaporates, minerals (amongst which coppersulphate) dont. that's why there's white stains in your bath after when you drain the water and let it dry...

Yeah you will get some mineral build up...you can just rinse it off though lol. Most of mine happens up at the top of the bong where the mist comes out. That's a good reason you need to not glue your bong together...you want to be able to break it down for cleaning once a year or so lol.
