Default [Project Log] Double Wide i7

Well here I go with my first project log. Thanks to everyone that answered any questions I've had so I could make decisions on this build and especially Pharaohspaw for pushing me over the edge on the double wide case. Wish me luck

Here's the hardware:
EVGA X58 motherboard
Intel Core i7 920 Processor - 2.66Ghz 130W 8MB Level 3 Cache
(6) 2GB G.Skill DDR3 1600 RAM - Tri Channel
(2) EVGA 8800GTX Graphics cards
Enermax Galaxy 850W PSU
LG bluray burner
(2) Western Digital 300GB 10000RPM Velociraptors Raid 0
(4) Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 1TB Raid 0
(2) Western Digital 320GB 7200 Raid 1
DangerDen Black Series Double Wide case

Water Cooling Setup:
Water blocks
DangerDen MC-TDX for Intel i7 (as of right now, haven't ordered it yet out of stock)
(2) DangerDen 8800gtx water blocks
North/South Bridge - (Nothing has been released for the board yet)
Mosfet - (Nothing has been released for the board yet)

Pumps
(2) DD-CPX1 12v

Radiators
(2) Black Ice Stealth 360 Radiators

Tubing
Tygon 3/8" ID clear
3/8" barbed fitting G1/4
3/8 compression fitting G1/4 - For the radiator

Fans
(9) Enermax Cluster 120mm twister bearing 53.02 CFM - Pushing air through radiator and pulling air into case
(6) Scythe S-Flex 120mm dynamic bearing 33.5 CFM - Pulling air through radiator
(4) Enermax UC-CL8 80mm 32.4 CFM - For exhuast
Sunbeam Chromatic Windmill Fan controller
Bitspower X-Station Power Extension - Blue LED

I'm building this system for video encoding, some gaming (don't have that much time anymore), and of course for fun (I love building and putting things together). I'm still waiting for a few parts to come in the mail and some free time, gotta love Sundays. This is my second major water cooling build so any comments or suggestions are welcome. I'll have a few pics up soon.

why the 8800's. they are powerful cards but a build like this cries or gtx 260 for better! it will be nice though with that beauty of a case.

Nah. Just slap a couple 9800GTX+ in there and stick a fork in it.

You got it. Since I don't do that much gaming anymore I don't think its worth it for me to upgrade the graphics cards right now. Maybe next year I'll get some new ones, especially if nvidia progresses with there bada boom program.

I have most of my parts, just waiting on a few more things to come Thursday and Friday.

Here's everything I have so far.

I started putting my case together and unfortunately dangerden forgot to give me one of the panels so that will be here on Friday. Guess I have to wait until this weekend to do more.

it looks nice man. like the guy said above. this build begs for you to at least put 2 gtx 260's on there. heres my suggestion on your watercooling.

Cpu: Apogee GTZ L1366 mounting
Rad: TFC 360 or GTX 360
Pump: MCP655 variable
Tubing: 7/16 ID

thats the best stuff out there and it will cool your pc with ease. as for the GPU WB's i would go with the D-Tek FuZion GFX 2 GPU Waterblock with a D-Tek GFX 2 UNI-Sink around it to cool those GPU's. otherwise the build looks nice. ill think ill stick with this Worklog.

oh and also do not get the 9800' GPU's. they are a rip off for reasons that i do not want to go into
