well I plan on mounting a radiator to the side of my desk and running the loop into the back of my antec 900 since it has the rubber gasket holes precut on the back.....If I plan on hitting 4.0ghz I will be pushing the FSB to 2000mhz...won't my NB heat up a bit? After using a cpu block I will be able to mount the nb fan though..maybe that will suffice? So I guess a cpu/gpu loop is really all I need then? Also I will only be hitting 4.0 for some screens after stability is proven...and Then i plan on running it lower 24/7...so a stand alone cpu loop isn't generally required? Especially if I grab a large radiator? maybe the danger den 360?

Your NB will not heat up to the point that it needs water cooling. A Thermalright HR05 with a fan will take care of it

Nice guide! one thing maybe could add would be shutdown on pump failure. I dont know if most pumps have the RPM meters but my swiftech 655 does and I have speedfan run a shutdown script should that monitor ever read 0. that will help the system shutdown on pump failure. I also have it run scripts for overheating but any decent mobo also has that option also. it would be interesting if some system could be devised to accurately detect leeks. I was thinking about measuring the res levels but that would only detect catastrophic leaks. maybe it's still worth doing.

So I think i understand what the issue is, but I wanted to ask someone. currently I am waiting to hear from Dangerden when they get more Single 5 1/4" Bay Reservoir in stock as I think that's what is causing my problem. I wish I had read this faq before I started but there's nothing like good hard won firsthand experience is there? ANYWAYS. the good news is that there are no leaks and my q9300 is at about 30 degree's right now. but I noticed that over a few days it will gradually climb to about 35 idle, and after 3 times of doing it ill tilt my case to check for air bubbles and a bunch will come out of my rad which sucks. Its a thermaltake dual rad (sorry don't know what it is at the moment, ill write it all down for easy access at some point). I think whats happening is that the res i have the intake port is higher than the out port. And the water coming into the res is coming out above the surface of the water creating air bubbles in the coolant, which then tiny little bubbles are eventually making their way into the rad and staying there. now the logical solution would be to fill the res all the way up but then it just overflows. I think its just a crappy res. Sorry for the long explanation, Thanks for your help!!
