McMaster has all kinds of all thread rods to cut down and use for mount bolts if your including them to. Springs and nice brass thumb nuts if your going whole hog on it..

i was gonig to get all springs and such from mcmaster but that was way too expensive. i bought sets of screws and thumb nuts from DD. was much cheaper that way. though next time i'll be getting it from EK as theirs are cheaper.

Did you look at Sidewinders? I think they used to have some mounting hardware ...Looks like everyone wants brass back-plates..

haha... its a 6:1 ratio for brass to aluminum as wheels said he would go with aluminum.

quite surprising. i was expecting people to want to save some money.

EDIT: i guess i'll be going with brass back plates.

well now its time to make the i7 mounting holes.. now how would i go about that right? there are a few options...

1.) meausure the distance for each and then drill..
2.) use your two similar plates.( GTZ 775 and i7) and overlap them and then drill in the 775 holes into the i7 plate.

guess which one i went with.

the two sandwiched..

holes drilled.

hmm... didn't work out too well.. the holes are a bit off.

but thats ok. i found a back up plan and it'll work out much better. just gotta wait until it gets here for the i7 holes.
