Another quick update, the tubing and fittings arrived from Petra's today. I started arranging the tubing, though I need to wait for everything else to arrive (should be tomorrow). But here are two quick pics, one showing the bench with the UV cathodes lit, and with the tubing I've done so far in place. The second shows the coolant i've mixed, G11+distilled mixed at a 1:9 ratio along with two drops of PT-Nuke. Mm-mm. The pics are kinda funny, I guess cameras are more reactive to UV light than the human eye, the purple glow is a lot less in person.
![]() ![]() Wish I could get the pic quality better for you guys, but hey, I spend my money on computer parts not cameras :P. Will update tomorrow as parts arrive.

Well, everything got here today. Assembling it all was pretty easy, I'm leak testing it now. I seem to get a nice constant cyclone of bubbles coming from the north bridge block, and a bit from the GPU block. Im assuming that after a while of bleeding these will be gone. No leaks so far, and everything looks great! I cant wait to fire this baby up and overclock her.

very very very nice
![]() Tilt you computer to get out the bubbles, and when you think you are done bleeding, wait 10 min, then tilt it again Should get out all the bubbles!

alright, will do.
also i can see what people mean about the D4 having a nice whine to it. Its not bad, but i can see how it'd get irritating to some people.

hmm, i've only been running it for about 2 hours now and all the bubbles seem to be gone, even when I give it a good shake. I'll let it run until I go to sleep, and let it run all day tomorrow before I power up the whole system. Still no leaks.

good.
Also the rad should be taken loose, and tilted around! It's almost always a little bubble that comes out when you do it! Have fun bleeding

Well I could not resist myself. I decided to power her on to see how she runs. Oh. My. Gosh. GPU LOADS at 37c, which is lower than it used to idle. CPU temps are hard to tell, I have on of the older E8400s with the messed up temp sensors, but they seem lower than they used to be so thats always good. I will give overclocking a go in the next few days, I want to go back to leaktesting, though the system seems to be fully bled now.
