Hi,
__________________I have been reading through this part of the forum for the last few days and anyway you guys seem to know what your at. I currently have a PC i spent near 1.5G's on about 8 months ago. Setup is (I'm not on it atm as i cba walkin upstairs and pluggin the crappy network cable we have to share in, this is by dispatch sheet/my memory): CPU - Intel QX9450 @ stock 2.66Ghz GPU - BFG 9800 GTX H2OC @ whatever BFG runs it at Mobo - Evga 750i FTW RAM - 2 x 2GB G.Skill PC2 8000C5 HDD - 2 x 10k rpm WD 74GB Raptors (XP x64 and Vista x64 Ultimate) 1 x 7.2k rpm Seagate Baracudda 500GB Case - Thermaltake VA7000SWA Shark PSU - Coolermaster "Real Power" 700W Case has 120mm intake and exhaust fans (1 each). Now the downside...I own a Thermaltake 760i kit... ![]() I'd agree with what ive read about them on here so far. Anyway temps on idle seem to be around 50 for the CPU (main reading) and the cores vary from 35 to 45-47), on load the whole lot doesn't really go past 60 but thats on stock fan cooling atm, under the water system it was hitting 70... CPU doesnt bother me much, however the GPU does as its a solely water cooled card. Temps on it (I have had it replaced since btw) reached over 100C. But like after i boot up it will sit at 55 then climb to just under 70 after say 10 mins. I bought this as a performace gaming machine, I wanted water cooling but this kit sucks.. I also have a thermaltake TMG1 radiator + 120mm fan running at its full 2400 RPM and the bigwater running at its full. I do think the LED fan is classy looking but it sucks for performance over the TMG fan. I have rebuilt the system like 5 times now but its not really changed the temps at all. Oh yea it currently goes: pump/reservoir ->TMG1 -> 9800 GTX -> pump/reservoir TBQH I am lazy and know very little of the WC market, IDEALLY I would like to buy another WC kit that works or even an entire case + kit. Unless you guys have any other ideas...? Help is appreciated. Regards, Francis

also go here and fill out your system spec's so you dont always have to type em out
![]() http://www.overclock.net/usercp.php first disamble everything take the 760I and proceed to jump on it then head over to petra's and order the watercooling parts ![]() they also offer pre-built kits that will further jump on ur 760I edit: here is a link to petra's http://www.petrastechshop.com/

All the kits are out of stock except for this one. http://www.petrastechshop.com/swh2apullico.html This one is still very good. Can you provide us with a budget please?

Just buy the parts of the kit individually. Jab-tech.com has great prices.

__________________Give or take £200GBP, assuming it will do my job better than I need. The one u linked me to Dar_T, it wont fit my case as the case has only space for 1 x 120mm fan on the rear, thanks tho. On a side note I am using Arctic Silver 5 on the CPU. Im in Ireland here as well so if i buy American at the current exchange rate im gona get raped. Same with the Euro. Then there's the import tax etc etc.

It is best to buy individual parts so you get exactly what you need. If you are unwilling or unable to do that, the Swiftech kit mentioned before is a good option, as is the XSPC kit.
Have you looked at high end air cooling options? There are some good coolers out there now for gpu's as well as cpu's. If you find that water cooling is looking too expensive to do 'properly' you should consider high end air instead of going 'cheap' on water cooling. General things to keep in mind. Don't skimp on pumps, radiators or blocks. Take your time both before you buy to do research and after you buy to assemble properly. Rushing things is not a good idea. Use some sort of clamp on your hoses. Worm drive clamps are the most secure option, though some with higher tolerances for risk will use zip ties. Leak test... The longer the better.

Dar_T, just looked through them parts and yea they seem grand but again I see a problem mounting the radiator on my case.

Might be a little off topic but take a look at the Accelero.
