Default Determing loop volume

im killing myself over this right now and google hasn't come up with anything.

im going to be a running a stinger v8 + 339ml res + 480gtx rad +MCP655 and tubing. is there a calculator or a method to determine how much liquid is need or is it pretty much estimation? just trying not to blow to much money on my first loop.

Fill your loop full with water. Then drain and measure.

it is pretty much just estimation.

a couple 32 oz bottles should be enough. get 3 and you will be guaranteed to have some left over to top off/refill.

remember that you will need to change out the coolant sooner or later, so you may want to buy extra, or at least pick some up down the road after you find out how much it took to fill the system.
