My system is fine.Thank god.No way i could afford to replace it right now.Im not sure what happened but im betting the screws loosened up some. Its been running 5 or 6 months without fail. But it was either the screws or the seal just went bad.Im not sure. But it was leaking at both corners .I think using distilled water saved the day

Maybe ill convert the apogee drive into the mp350 or 355.Anyone know where i can find that guide?

If you just take apart your rig and really let it dry it will be fine...but you gotta make sure its seriously dry..leave it for a few days. I never liked kits anyway, custom is the way to go..but with the h20 compact dont swiftech provide a bottle of their own coolant, should be non conductive too...could be why your rig is still fine.

Thats sucks, I would have a heart attack if I looked down and my water cooling was leaking like that, I guess for most people the benefits outweigh the risks

Water will do nothing to computer parts as long as it does not have electricty going through. I once gave my 8800GT a bath with hot watter and it works fine.

Just unscrew the Apogee Drive, discard the base, and attach the pump motor to a separate pump top.

Yeah Bud it was yours and then this one.DO NOT BUY the Swiftech H20-120 Compact! ..Thats right after they first came out.

I guess this makes about 4 of them I've heard of springing leaks.

Here is some set-up info on them to from our members, anyone with one might want to keep an eye on the bolts and whatnot and keep them tightened up.

..Swiftech H20 120: Tiny wonder or silent killer?

For the price they sell for the quality control cannot be the best, the majority of the leaks are either caused by vibrations since the pump is mounted on the block or those crappy plasticy barbs that are molded to the pump leak. If you can salvage anything, salvage the pump and do the solder mod to turn it into a DCC3.2 and ad a pumptop

Use plumbers tape? (teflon tape)

You would be surprised, I'm sure, at the numbers that don't invest in a $1 safeguard IMO... Many don't even know what it is and thread their barbs in blocks and rad's without having it in place. Talk about leaks
