Default Swiftech barbs question

Hey guys.

I got my stuff today (most of it). Got my mcr220 & 2*mcw60's.

I have the swifitech g1/4 1/2' od barbs. How do i know the barbs are tight enough? (the previous stuff i got were already very tight) I don't want to crack anything because of over tightening them. Is there anything wrong with these barbs?

I'm assuming you mean tight in ther thread holes? I ALWAYS use Teflon tape around the threads and then hand tighten.

If you're talking about tubing over the barbs, use 7/16" ID tubing, push the tubing all the way down to the base of he barbs, use clamps of zip ties to keep it secure.

well I didn't really like the looks on those plastic barbs that came with the MCW60... I wouldn't use them amigo but that's just my personal feeling.
