Yea. I ran around with a few ideas for the pump, but eventually settled on mounting it at an angle. That way I don't have to use any bending fittings. So far it works great .

This was my first WC'ing experience and I read quite a bit. My initial intentions were to go Res>Pump>Rad>Cpu>Res. It really wouldn't have made the bends any different, but I was worried about the high heat coming from the CPU into the pump. I heard that hot water is worse for the pump. I could be wrong though. I think I'll be ok. Do you think there would be a large temp drop going rad>cpu rather than the other way around?

And thanks everyone else
If it wasn't for OCN... I wouldn't have this setup. Nor would I be broke

i dont think it would matter much just b/c it is a closed loop and the temperature will relatively hit equilibrium underload.

Just because a system is a closed loop doesn't mean it will hit equilibrium (at least, not at a temp you want).

You put too much on a single loop and you can easily blow over thermal limits on chips.

This is a great setup, though.

Looks good man. Not sure how it would perform in comparison to ultra high end aircooling, but I admire your effort. I was thinking about doing this too, but I want the PC to be easily upgradeable and the such.

Very nice build. I love this case

Without a nice big heatsink in here now, the northbridge gets pretty hot... and the hard drives get kinda warm with no air being pulled over them.

The i7 is so freakin hot to begin with, the watercooling isn't a whole lot better than my previous air cooling. Although, if I got a bigger radiator that would change.

I am pleased with this rig for now. We'll see how long that lasts

Yeah I really like mATX builds too! It's a good way to restrict wasting moeny on SLi and ****. I don't see the point in all that. It's easier to save ur money, sell off 1 Card later on down the track and buy the new one. It's not like a top of the line card can't run any game.

True. That's what I usually do. But this board will do SLi and Crossfire

Thanks! Yea, I got the Masterkleer because the other stuff was so expensive.
I think WC'ing the video card would be more of a hassle than it's worth. Idle my video card is at 37c right now and under full load even overclocked it rarely goes over 70c.
The 260 is powerful enough for now, and I have room for a 2nd

The barbs for the rad and cpu block are literally 90 degrees and right next to each other. I had to take the line down and out a little, and wrap back up. I could get 90 degree fittings and it would be much cleaner, but wouldn't that hurt the flow?

Thanks for looking and commenting

What coolant are you using in that loop?
