Sorry, I must have glanced past it. You really couldn't do two ccfls with this res. The actual bulb of the cathode gets removed, and then slid back in once the acrylic tube is sealed up. Sure you could try and jam two in there and I am sure they would fit, but the thin metal wire which runs from end to end would probably touch each other and short the whole system.

See the magic behind these reservoirs is that if the UV cathode goes bad, or you get sick of the UV and want a different color, just go buy another 8" or 20cm light, and crack off the tube and insert the bulb.

Thats cool. Gives a good mental picture as to what your looking at as towards interior space. I WAS slightly concerned, but am not any more. I do love the fact that its interchangeable. How does this effect the coils? ( helix ) Are they pretty much permanent, or have you be thinking of ways to make those interchangeable as well?

Well, if the helix were bonded to a threaded end cap that screwed on to the cylinder, then they would be interchangeable. Right now though I don't have the capabilities to thread them like the EK and MagiCool reservoirs are.

i can just imagine owning one of these and then just buying "helix" packs with different coloured helixs that we can interchange lol.

that would be so awesome.

another question in regards to the helix i dont think has been asked, is it possible to do a dual colour or multicolor one?
