Cameras with the flash turned on play hell with polished brass or anything polished for that matter. You will notice that in most of my pics you don't see the minute polishing scratches which are pretty much invisible to the naked eye anyway.

On to new business, After putting in my new /used E8400 and trying to find time to build for myself a new V8 I noticed the Caps that were close to the socket which would prevent me from orienting the blocks center channel with the die. This will work fine for Intel since i7 is perfectly square and 775 is a difference of .1mm (virtually nothing).
So here is the result; I increased the internal width of the side walls to .350" and cut a .250"WX.100"D relief for Capacitor clearance. This is more than enough for the old Blood Iron, hopefully it will apply to other Mobos as well.

Hey I can barely speak English and that's what I grew up speaking..

..I can count to 10 and cuss a little in Spanish if that counts as a second language.

And if you could ask around and find out for me if you don't mind, is what do they call "french fries" in France? I ask everytime I go to a McDonalds but they never can say with any certainty, they just look at me like I'm pitiful for some reason.
