i would say the head of the pump matters more then pure lph

80 is fine 100 can be better but 300 is very high end, it all depends on what you are doing, how long ya hoses are, are they kinked, how many water blocks, how far the liquid has to be pushed, mine is about 90 and does the job fine with 2 water blocks installed which do not put much pressure on the pump at all...
