That's almost a quart a minute with one 90. I'd hate to use them on a CPU loop unless I had to. A GPU loop or something it wouldn't matter.

Probably one or two wouldn't hurt in a CPU loop either, but I'm a flow freak and they would give me nightmares..

..I've always been able to bend my tubing around to where it will all fit anyway.

i've done a 45 test. i'll be editing the previous post with the testing.

from the testing, you can tell that even the 45 fitting will knock off some flow from your loop. it seems like two 45s equal 1 regular 90. well i'm gonna do 2x 45s together and see if it equals 1x 90.

i just finished the 2x 45s and it was an interesting result.. 2x 45s did NOT = 1x 90. it actually stayed relatively the same as 1x 45. i find that very interesting. it seems like there was a slight dip compared to before but i would say almost negligible. so if you do plan on using a 90. its best to use the 45 dual rotary or 2x individual 45fittings.

Yeah I'm not going to buy top end pumps then restrict there flow if I can help it. I understand that some set-ups they might have to use one or two or whatever, you have to do what you have to do sometimes.

That's what we always used to tell everyone to use if they had to have a fitting, just a 45 copper tubing fitting flared out a little would work, its called a "Sweep". Martin used to solder brass barbs on 3/4" copper fittings to use as 90's and 45's, he's a flow freak to, don't let him fool you about that.

I bet 2-45's will equal a 90, I hope it does anyway...

yea, i've heard about and seen one or two of martin's custom fittings! those looked REALLY nice too! i can totally see martin as a flow freak.

only use those fittings if you seriously have to. other than that, tubing will work just fine.

I didnt want the huge lines outside my case sweeping around into the rad

but Im happy now and not worried one bit =]

dude, I cant tell ya how much i appreciate the quick testing you did. Allthough, it was not as bad as I thought it would be it was still awesome of you to throw something liket that togeather so quickly.

Originally I wanted to know about these fittings because I'm adding a second loop to my build just for my GPU's. I will most likely need to use 2x90* fittings.
