Well... I had everything in the rig but then I went to turn it on and nothing... No beep... Just a C1 post code, so I tried new ram, tried each one of my vid cards separately and took the cpu out of the socket and cleaned the bottom side with some 91% and gave the socket a good cleaning with some canned air. The post code changed to 80 and I still get no beep... I am thinking another dead 790i... So this is RMA #2 on this build... Everything looks nice though. The hard drive mounts were erking me and I couldn't figure out how they mounted... I finally figured it out after modifying the original HDD mount so now I can mount only 1 drive instead of 3 and the mounting is vertical instead of horizontal... Oh well... Not fond of this case much anyways, the fabrication of it is 2nd rate at best, I had to drill out nearly 30 holes to get the top piece to fit with the radiator and fans and to get the two side panels to line up with the threads. I also had to modify where the I/O panel is to get the tray to sit flush. I can say with full confidence I will not be buying another MM case. 2-3 weeks of waiting for a half rate case that I paid premium $ for? I'd be better off just building my own from scratch. Will post some pics (even though the rig is town down) later this evening.

This is odd I know, but try pressing in on the bios chip on your board. On my 780i, every now and then the bios chip seems to work it's way loose, or something, because when I boot from time to time I get a slew of different post codes, but with no post. If I press in on my bios chip, it will actually boot fine.
Just a thought.

On topic:
That desk looks like it going to be massive! I really like the way it looks though.
I'm subbing this as I'm curious to see how it all turns out.

I did that =(. I have seriously tried everything. Switched out the ram, CPU, GPU, hard drive, cd-rom, even took it out of the case to see if that was the problem. Unfortunately nothing worked... Worst part is the mobo was pretty much brand new from RMA... Had only been booted twice and worked both times before this failure.

The desk is 11'x5' to the outside (Meaning the back of the desk where the tv is 11' and the other far side is 5'). It would fit prefectly in my room seeing as the wall that is in the picture of my current desk is 11.4'ish and the wall makes a 90 and follow just like the desk follows for another 5.5'. It should fit quite nicely and I will have a work area for doing mods.
