Default Waterblock with Heatpipes???

Never seen anything that looked like this! Although this would perhaps kill flow, would it be of any benefit to suck the heat off before it gets absorbed by the water and carried to other parts that you're W/Cing?

It's like having a second rad in your circuit... Your pump will have to do overtime to get any decent flow out of it. Plus, that means there's a rad permenantly inside your case increasing ambient temperature.

Personally, i'd go for a second external radiator.

Furthermore (!) that's 900g of copper and aluminium on your motherboard... One nudge with the vacuum cleaner and you're down one mobo, chip, and graphics card when that thing falls on it!

Semi off topic, but the block is made of silver, which has higher thermal properties. Why question is though, which weighs more...silver or copper?

It weighs 874g... Says so on the page you linked My Gigabyte 3D Ultra GT weighs just under 800g, and I was bricking it when I transported my PC to my mates house.

That behemoth of a cooler will damage something if it ever came off... Mounting breaking or mobo splitting!

What do you mean by "bricking it"?
