Default Looking furthur into watercooling

This is my idea for a setup :-

Pump - - 120 mm single rad mounted in the front of case - - CPU - - dual 80 mm fan rad mounted on back of case - - GPU - - Drivebay res -- pump.

I was thinking of using the blace ice micro rad as the dual 80mm and the storm block by swiftech. I'm not sure on a pump and gpu block or the 120mm rad. I am going to use the swiftech drivebay res.

What tubing and water should I use? also where can I get this stuff from cheap? I was looking on overclock.co.uk, as I would like to order all from same manufacturer.

Thanks
manutdfan

Just a thought, but you may get better cpu cooling if you go pump - 80 - 80 - 120 - cpu - gpu. That should give you the best cpu cooling. I have my video card cooled after my cpu and the cards temps never go above 45.

My budget has shrunk to between £130 - £150. can I still build a decent system with that?

Also I have heard the dual 80mm rad's perform terribly, should I get a new case? as I need the wc stuff to fit into my case. I have space for a dual 80mm rad in the back a 120mm rad in the front and a single drive bay res.

Could anyone suggest parts to use please? £130 is $220 though prices are more expensive over here.

Thanks
Aaron

You can't just stick an 80mm rad into a system like that. It'll really hamper the flow

You could get away with 120mm rad - CPU - 120mm rad - GPU - res - pump, but its a bit messy. If you could mod your case to fit a dual 120mm rad then it'd be better.

For around £160 (without shipping) you can cool the CPU and GPU with a single 120mm radiator. Then maybe save up a little and get another 120mm rad later on, or get busy with a jigsaw and buy a dual 120mm rad for £5 more than the single :/

From overclock.co.uk:
Swiftech MCP655
Swiftech MCW6002
Black Ice Pro 120mm

From watercoolingshop.com:
Da nger Den Maze4
1/4" NPT to 1/2" barbs x2
1/2" ID tubing

I'm thinking of buying this case with my money now and when I get new months pay get w/c. Just want to make sure this is a decent case for housing w/c.

Thanks for all the links muffin, I may miss out on cooling the GPU as I have a zalman flower on it at the moment and it is fairly cool. I would also like to get the best possible waterblock and pump as I can upgrade the radiators and later.

Thanks again

What case?

overclock.co.uk have you covered for the best pump and block - the MCP655 pump I mentioned above and the Swiftech Storm waterblock.

sorry, forgot to paste in the link.
http://www.xcase.co.uk/acatalog/copy...ake_Shark.html

it's a lot bigger than my current case. which I think with w/c my current case would be too cramped.

I think im going to go with that pump and block.

Thanks again
Aaron
