Could the under side of the stinger be releaved to make room for a pro mount system? i.e. mount the mounting bracket using the counter sunk screws that hold the block togather

thats one idea i had been thinking about... the other is to just use the pressure from the mounts with only barb holes.

That top came out so slick I wish you had just had fstfrddy make the top plate longer and with mounting holes. You could do the same thing you'll just need a tap and bit for the bolts and barbs.

I'm like you I'd hate to cover it up and I just don't like plexi, but thats just me, a plexi mount wouldn't cover it all up.
