THat would be good. Just look at it this way. Atleast if you think that your PSU is the problem, you already know what is wrong and dont have to keep on testing other parts to find the problem. So like everyone else said, just hang in there. I am sure you'll work it out soon!=)

trust me, i am going to hang in there...the total bill on this thing exceeds $3k so i am not giving up anytime soon to try to get it working, lol.

I think the psu didn't like folding for 24/7 for 2 months straight...maybe that is why it went kaput. I am 99.99% sure it is the PSU as I've tried jumping it with a paperclip and it doesn't power anything.

I'll edit this post later on today and let you all know what corsair says.

*edit: I contacted corsair and they gave me a RMA number and told me to just mail in the unit itself and they would get a replacement out to me asap.

Its good that Corsair did not give you a hard time..I hope you get the PSU asap and it works out...

the power supply is suppose to arrive on the 27th...they replaced it with a brand new one.

k so, i received the new power supply today...hooked it up and everything and the power supply works now, and it powers up the water pump, etc and the motherboard and displays the LED Code "FF". This is however, without the 4-6pin motherboard power cable plugged in...only the 24pin is connected, if i try to power it up with the 4-6 pin plugged it it does the same thing as it use to do before the psu died.

half a fan spin, then stops...

I guess its your mobo that is broken..Are you talking about the 4-8pin mobo power connector for the CPU?

yeah i meant the 8pin connector. but the mobo works fine...i took it up to frys and it posted with the cpu & ram.

I rma my board again cuz of the same situation like yours. But now, I don't know anymore myself. It goes to FF and then nothing. I chat with the Intel people today and requested an rma for the cpu, but I'm going to wait for my motherboard to come from evga, if it won't boot again I will send my cpu for rma.

This fiasco happened when I tried to install tri-sli on my board, It killed my 2 gpu, and now I wonder if it killed my cpu also.
