I can't seem to find distilled water anywhere in the UK either. All I do is pop down to Tesco's and buy the CarPlan deionised water [£1.50 for 2.5Litres] mix it with a little PT_Nuke and I am fine.

That's a shame that it's so hard for you UK watercoolers to find distilled... It's available at every large grocery store here in Canada for about $1.50 for a 4 liters jug.
Seems like de-ionized will do just fine. Go with that!

deionized may have a beastie or two lurking in there but your PT nuke or whatever should take care of it. "try to get ions back?" =
