Yes. And if you it games back Ions you can get some funky stuff growing. Go with distilled. It is 100% pure water. you can get it at your local grocery store for cheap.

Man, distilled water is expensive for you guys.. I got 4L of it for 99 cents! I bought it from a drug store.

I took a look at my grocery store and saw 4L jugs of distilled water for $2 each so I am sure its avail everywhere. You just have to look in the right place. Its marked lass than 0.05 PPM (parts per million).
