Default Best radiator for crapy WC kit

I have a Kingwin water cooling kit (modified) and I am looking to replace the crappy 80mm radiator with something that can transfer a bit more heat. The thing is, my tubing is 3/16" (will this work with 1/4" fittings?) and has quick connected fittings. The fittings can be changed, obviously, but the size is a limiting factor. I was thinking of getting the Thermaltake Bigwatter radiator, but I would really like a dual 120mm setup.

You could always get 3/16" to 3/8" or 1/2" OD adapters. That would allow you to use any radiator you wanted, just make sure your pump can handle it.

If you wanted something natively 1/4", I think older Koolance rads come with 1/4" OD barbs.

Is that the size of the fittings on the pump, res and block as well or are they reduced? Those are some small lines...I would try to open them up if at all possible but if the pump inlet and outlet are 3/16" ID then you are pretty much stuck. You can open up the lines but the velocity will be lower since the pump will be able to only move so much given the cross sectional area of the ports. Even a change to 3/8" ID, you are looking at a change in cross sectional area of 4X. At that point the fluid dynamics get confusing...for me anyway. Assuming a 0psi condition pushing 100GPH with 3/16" ID, the change to 3/8" ID would result (I think) in a reduced velocity (4X slower) within the system (and reduce turbulence) but the GPH would remain the same. Again...I think.

By the way, which kit is it?

It’s this one. (I am not using the drive-bay unit to save space). The fittings on the pump/bock/rad are quick-connect, so the OD is huge, but the ID is still 3/16". Do you think if I got 1/4"-1/2" adapters and a dual heatercore from DD it would work?
